Male Facial Shaping

"At the core of the Palmer Code are the secret, ideal patterns that define human beauty. Understanding them and how they relate to you will allow the full potential of your appearance to be revealed. You'll literally have a map for unlocking your true hidden beauty."

Excerpt from Dr Francis Palmer's new book "What's Your Number... the palmer code"

Male Facial Shaping

Generally speaking, men look ruggedly handsome with more angular faces (rectangular or square).

The Cheeks

Ideal male cheeks are narrow and high for a more angular and rugged appearance.

The Lips

Lips are the third most important facial feature, accounting for 7% of facial beauty, but are also the most commonly overlooked. Lips, when ideally shaped, are full and plump, but the key formula for beautiful lips lies in the proportion between them. The upper lip should be roughly 75% as large as the lower, allowing the lower lip to look full with a pout.

The Jaw

The jaw line creates an aesthetic separation between the neck and chin, making it an integral part of facial shape and beauty. Flared jaw lines, long associated with strength and masculinity, are ideally male. The more flared the jaw line, the more masculine this feature becomes. Flared is a term that refers to how wide the angle is between the front of the chin and the back of the jaw.

The Chin

Broad, squared chins are an ideal shape for men.

Here's the same patient after:

  • Radiesse to the Cheeks, Mandibular angle to create a more flared, rugged jaw line and Chin.
  • Submental Liposuction
  • Lip Augmentation
  • Botox to the forehead and Glabella

Cheek Implants and a Chin Implant Could also be used to shape these areas.
